The Gondwana series of dwarf tomato varieties were selected and bred by Patrina Nuske, Australia. The Gondwana dwarf tomato varieties were bred and developed by Patrina after Australia no longer allowed seed exchanges as part of an international project. There are 5 varieties of Dwarf Project Tomato of the Gondwana series, bred and stabilized by Patrina - Gondwana Moon, Gondwana Rose, Gondwana Lighting, Gondwana Lava, Gondwana Thunder.
Gondwana Moon has small round golden fruits, weighing about 50-80 gr., with dark purple spots and stripes. Pale yellow flesh, initially with a sour taste that transitions to sweetness, and ends with a hint of umami (umami means "essence of pleasure" in Japanese, and its flavor is often described as a juicy, salty delight that deepens the flavor).
A dwarf plant about 1-1.2 meters tall, with a powerful trunk and regular rugosa foliage. High yielding. Great for growing in pots or small gardens.
