Description
Early variety- ripens about 75-80 days after sowing. An old French variety. The Noir de Carmes melon has a dark, almost black skin. When it is fully ripe- the fruit skin turns yellow/orange. Fruits are mediгm sized- weight about 1-1,5 kg. The smooth skin is deeply ribbed, the flesh is thick, orange, very sweet and fruity. The melon must be eaten very quickly after being harvested, within 2 days at the most. This variety is also known as „Black Rock“.
