Mid season. Italian heirloom. Plants are compact, growing about 60 cm tall. Plants bear huge yields of glossy, blood-red, round pimento-type fruits. The flesh is very thick, crisp, sweet and delicious. Excellent for salads, frying, and pickling. High yielding.
